Milk protein Pilgrims! Still sticking to the HNV, high quality food source hook bait that we all know by now does make a difference as proven with the Pilgrims.... but much more refined and tuned to perform in the cooler water Temps..
All of the ingredients in this mix complement each other to perform in colder water as the fishes behaviour changes and the colder water itself makes baits behave in a different way.. when fishmeal baits will no longer perform as well as they do in warmer water, many make the switch to a winter bait that will perform differently as the fishes dietary requirements change and their ability to detect food decreases.. Whilst 'only' a hook bait.. this is comprised of 4 high quality milk proteins (rennet and acid casein, WPC, and calcium caseinate, Chocolate Malt powder, a blend of Bird foods (seeds and fruits), legume meals and isolates offering low fat but highly digestible protein source, cereal meals, and a blend of 4 appetite stimulating powders full of amino Acids and finally yeast powder.. a jam packed high attract basemix just like the Pilgrim mix.... The liquid package to compliment contains active CSL, Minamino, Honey and Proper Talin based sweetener that costs a small fortune..
The corkballs have a more refined coating of the liquids and powders than the Bottom baits.
Darker than a 'nut bait' but the inclusion of the Fruit based bird food offers a visual aid aspect to baits with small flecks of colour.. (please note the fruit meal is sieved out of the corkball hookbaits.. im hoping to add it in at some point but its requiring a little head scratching)
