The natural Evolution of Stoglemans was always going to mean that a range of Food baits was going to be offered when the time was right. I am committed to offering the exact bait I want and need in my own angling, when the odds are against you, the stakes are high, and you need every edge you can get

This bait isn't for everyone. If you need to fill the lake in with kilos and kilos of bait, it's probably not going to be a viable option. The price reflects the quality of the ingredients used, and their inclusion rates. This is a complete bait that offers so much more than attraction - the base mix and liquid food package are formulated to offer nutritional benefit with an emphasis on giving these carp we chase around lakes day in day out something they can eat that is actually beneficial to them rather than just something attractive and very digestible that they eat and pass without much benefit to their well being. After all, we all like catching these old relics, my attitude is that they deserve to eat something that's good for them. And In my opinion, the fish recognise a good food bait and become tuned in to seeking it out. This has been proven with many great quality baits over the last however many decades. This is just my offering. 

This bait when applied and established correctly will truly stand out. Using less bait, but having a bait that is incredibly soluble, nutrient rich and attractive due to natural products with a great taste will perform exceptionally well.  It's not for everyone, and I'm not trying to cater for everyone at this point.

To summarise without shooting myself in the foot and giving all its edges away -

• The Pilgrim is comprised of a blend of fishmeals, low-temp heat treated with the focus on those that have a higher amount of meat, lower ash, higher protein and a consistent quality
• a pre-digested highly soluble fishmeal
• Full fat Green Lipped Mussel extract (10%)
• An in-house blended bird food mix to ensure quality and aid digestibility 
• A blend of extracts and feed stimulants both feed and food grade that contain exceptional levels of free form amino acids, nutrients, improve taste and digestibility, naturally colouring the bait, boosting solubility and in turn becoming incredibly detectable and accepted by carp
• Milk Proteins to boost amino acid profile and adding more vitamins and minerals
• Optimum flavour levels to compliment a food bait - much lower than found in the high-attract hook baits.
• A blend of in-house produced 100% pure Hydrolysates and outsourced high quality extracts form the liquid food package.
• Fresh free range Dorset eggs
• Carefully cooked in temperature monitored water, to protect the delicate amino acids found in the bait from exposure to damaging excessive heat

Every step of production is carried out in-house, no purchased base mixes, no outsourced rolling. This is what I believe in and what I stand for and want to offer in a time when bait is readily available from many places
